PLEASE READ ALL OF THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICES. We may amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use the Services, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
If you are a young person using Workfinder to find work experience, see also section 13.
If you are the parent or guardian of a young person who is using Workfinder, see also section 14.
If you are a Volunteer who wants to use Workfinder to offer work experience to young people, see also section 15.
If you are an educator who wants to use the Website to arrange for a Volunteer to make a school visit or attend a career fair, see also section 16.
If you are a Volunteer who wants to use the Website to apply to be a role model for a young people, see also section 17.
If you are an organisation that wants to use the Website to join us and become a partner to help us inspire young people, see also section 18.
By using Workfinder, you confirm that you accept and agree to comply with the Terms described in sections 2 to 12 above and the Terms for a work experience placement in this section 13. If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using Workfinder.
Workfinder is designed to help you arrange Work Experience in your local business community, but there is no guarantee that an Offer will be made.
You agree that any information you provide is complete and accurate, and that we may use this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy set out at www.founders4schools.org.uk/privacy/.
You agree to Workfinder sharing with potential Employers:
so that the Employer can perform the legal obligations associated with providing you with an offer for Work Experience and to facilitate the Work Experience taking place.

If you are under the age of 16 when you receive an Offer, the Offer must be accepted by a Permission Grantor on your behalf.
By accepting an Offer (or permitting a Permission Grantor to accept the Offer on your behalf) you agree to:
Neither the issue or acceptance of an Offer nor any Work Experience is intended to be a legally binding contract between you and Workfinder or you and the Employer. The Work Experience placement may be cancelled or terminated at any time without notice at the discretion of you or the Employer. Neither you nor the Employer intends for the Work Experience to constitute an employment relationship.
You agree that your Work Experience placement is a volunteer activity to enable you to gain experience of the world of work and that it may be unpaid.
The Employer may, but is not obliged to, cover the costs of your travel or other expenses incurred in connection with your Work Experience.
Following completion of the Work Experience, you will be asked by us to rate your experience on a scale of 1 to 5 and to provide written feedback on your Work Experience. Your feedback will be published on Workfinder and viewable by the Employer. Please do not include any confidential or private information. You agree to take part in this feedback process. Sections 8 (User Generated Content, Your Content and Content Standards) will apply to such feedback.
We have the right to remove any feedback at our discretion, especially where we believe that it is offensive, abusive, intentionally false or misleading.
In the course of your Work Experience, you may have access to confidential information in relation to your Employer and their clients. You agree not to use or disclose this information to any person either during your Work Experience or at any time afterwards.
Without limiting Section 9 (Liability) above:
You agree to let us know immediately if you become aware of, or experience, any form of trolling, abuse or other emotional distress whilst using Workfinder or whilst taking part in Work Experience (by using the notification functions in the Workfinder App, by email to support@workfinder.com).

Where the Youth is under 16, the Youth will be required to obtain your permission and for you to accept the Offer on their behalf. In providing your permission and accepting the Offer on the Youth's behalf, you agree to:

By making an Offer:
If acceptance of the Offer is subject to conditions set by a Permission Grantor, you will consider these promptly and act reasonably, and an any case within one (1) week of receipt of such conditions by the Permission Grantor.

You agree to obtain and maintain adequate insurance cover with a reputable insurer, and provide reasonable evidence of this via Workfinder if required. Such insurance shall include employer's liability insurance. You agree to our attaching evidence of your insurance cover to your record, to show that evidence has been supplied so that we may make it available to others in due course in the future.

You agree to comply with applicable data protection law, including the Data Protection Act 1998 and any superseding legislation.
You agree to use the Youth Personal Data only in connection with the provision of Work Experience to such Youth, and you further agree that you shall obtain all necessary consents to process the Youth Personal Data including, where required, obtaining the consent of the Youth's Permission Grantor to such processing.
Following completion of Work Experience, the Youth will be asked by F4S to rate their experience on a scale of 1 to 5 and to provide written feedback on their Work Experience. Their feedback will be published on Workfinder and viewable by the Employer. You agree to such feedback being published on Workfinder. Section 8 (User generated content, your content and content standards) will apply to such feedback.
In this section 16, the following capitalised terms have the meanings set out below:
Our Services make it easy for Educators like you to access Volunteers from all sectors to help raise the attainment of pupils.
If you are using our services to request an Encounter:
You will will contact us immediately at events@founders4schools.org.uk if there are any issues with the Volunteer.
You will contact us immediately at events@founders4schools.org.uk if there is an issue with the encounter you have requested and you understand that cancellations are deeply inconvenient to the Volunteers who often go to great lengths to re-arrange their commitments in order to be with you on that day.
You agree to share with F4S:
so that we can contact you with respect to an Encounter.

By registering to be a Volunteer with us:
We can suspend, restrict or terminate your access to our services (in whole or part) at any time without notifying you if we believe that you are misusing the services or are not suitable for our organisation. This will not limit our right to take any other action against you that we consider appropriate to defend our rights or those of anyone else.

You agree to F4S sharing with Educators:
so that the Educator can contact you to attend an Encounter that he or she is organising.

By registering to be a Partner or by referring Educators and/or potential Volunteers to us, you agree to having the following information displayed on our Website:

We welcome your referrals of other potential Volunteers to us. When providing such referrals, you will ensure that:
You will receive from us a free report on the success of your referrals becoming a Volunteer with us and you can sign up for enhanced reports for an additional fee.
