If you are a retailer or an organisation which collects payments via a digital payment merchant, you can register with Pennies to raise funds for the next generation at no cost to your business!
Pennies is the fintech charity which operates the 'digital charity collection tin', you may have used their donation service yourself without even realising it at some point since their inception 10 years ago. Customers are asked during their card payment transaction whether they would like to round up their payment to the nearest pound or donate a small set amount (decided by you!) on top of their purchase.
This means your organisation can help us to inspire the next generation just by giving your customers the option to make a micro-donation when they shop with you, which may not be much to them, but when everyone gives a little it can make a big impact.
Pennies provides this fundraising initiative via a wide range of payment merchants as well as for e-commerce and in-app purchase - click here to see further information. They have also recently introduced their Pennies IPOSUP collaboration, which enables small and independent businesses to support charities through microdonations too.
Businesses who have the potential to raise over £10,000 through the scheme can support F4S through the main Pennies initiative, whereas those who are likely to raise below this amount now have the opportunity to engage IPOSUP as their payment merchant and raise funds through the Pennies IPOSUP scheme.
Pennies looks after the whole set up, meaning you can be impacting the futures of the next generation within a matter of weeks with very little effort and no cost to you!
If you would like to support us in this way or would like to know more, contact us on fundraising@founders4schools.org.uk to arrange a meeting with F4S and Pennies to discuss getting set up!
