Chair's Welcome

Our mission is to empower individuals in schools and small businesses with life-changing inspiration, experiences, and learning opportunities. We enhance diversity, social mobility, economic growth, and productivity by helping people reach their full potential.

Since our inception, we have developed a world-class technology platform, formed partnerships with numerous organisations, and recruited over 30,000 volunteers. These dedicated individuals have engaged with more than 600,000 students, teachers, career leads, and SME employees through 2 million transformative interactions.

Our diverse range of programs—including Digital Boost, Sustainable Futures, Maths4Girls, and Scotland’s Developing Young Workforce—demonstrates our comprehensive approach to education and professional development. Central to these efforts is our platform, designed to facilitate knowledge exchange through direct engagement between learners and experts.

Participants enjoy access to real-world knowledge and experiences via our masterclasses and self-directed learning modules. Our offerings support various groups, from small businesses seeking growth to teachers guiding students toward sustainable careers, highlighting the importance of human-to-human interaction facilitated by our volunteers.

Our platform remains a preferred resource for teachers, parents, and small businesses to connect with skilled professionals capable of navigating today's dynamic career landscape. Our detailed and transparent reports allow all stakeholders to gauge the impact of our collaborative efforts on community and social objectives.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our community of supporters, including educators who integrate our resources into their curricula, volunteer mentors, industry experts who share their insights, and our financial backers. Revamping Impact Tracking

To complement our focus on action, we are improving our impact tracking systems to better understand and communicate what changes are effective and why.
