that explores how inspirational role models use languages in the World of Work in different sectors and look at how language
learning can be fun in a remote learning environment.

The CPD sessions for Teachers offer you the opportunity to explore language teaching in the current environment.

Teachers and parents are welcome to observe the sessions.

Opening session exploring why learning a language is so important for students today where the world is a village and the job market is global.

How I use Languages in the World of Work (For students 11-18 years)

Discover how successful business role models use their language skills in everyday life.

Session 3: 11:15 - 11:45
World is a Village Taster Session: French (11-16 years. Limited to 25 participants)

Students take part in an interactive workshop that shows how the World is a Village’s Digital Journey works.

Session 4: 12:00 - 12:30
How I use Languages in the World of Work(For students 11-18 years)

Discover how successful role models from STEM industries use their language skills in everyday life.

Session 5: 12:45 - 13:15
Languages in the World of Work (For language teachers and careers leads)

A short session that offers educators the opportunity to discuss with successful business people how languages are used in the world of work and how educators can prepare the students.

Session 6: 13:30 - 14:00
