16 Feb 2022

Scottish schools are being encouraged to join F4S & SDS in focusing on digital careers as part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week.

Founders4school, in partnership with Skills Development Scotland, is hosting a career inspiration day on Thursday 10 March for Scottish high school pupils and young people considering what their future career should be on the theme of digital careers. Taking part during Scottish Apprenticeship Week (7-11 March) it will feature apprentices sharing why the sector was the right choice for their career path.

Young people use technology like no other generation has ever done before. They are tech savvy but the skills they develop do not always match what industry needs. They seem to believe they are experts yet they do not meet the requirements of employers in the tech/digital-related industries looking to develop their talent pipeline.
