5 Simple Ways to Support F4S
17 Dec 2020

In preparing our current generation of young people for the future and the rapidly changing world of work we aim to inspire ambition, create equal opportunities for success, and to reduce future skills gaps. Join us on that journey. Here’s how you can help...

1.Book an event

The reason why F4S exists! If you are a teacher or careers leader, this is the simplest way to support F4S. The bonus? You’ll be helping yourself and your school. Our volunteers @ F4S want to support you in bringing your curriculum alive for your students and to help prepare them for their future careers. Our platform is a quick and free solution to age-old problems - lack of time and lack of the right networks. We can help with both if you let us.

2. Become a Corporate Partner

Invest in your future while inspiring the next generation. F4S enables students and educators to engage with volunteers from the business world to inspire, excite, and educate students about their future career options. Sponsor us as a way to develop your future talent pipeline while at the same time encouraging your employees to give back as a way to support their self-development.

3.Donate to Future4Students

You can donate individually to support our transformative work. As a small charity, every penny counts and we are grateful for all donations from one-off gifts to monthly contributions. We launched our Futures4Students Fund this Christmas as a direct response to the worrying news that young workers are amongst those who have been worse hit by the pandemic. Help us change this trajectory.

4. Spread the word

Another easy way to support F4S. Become an ambassador for F4S by simply liking, commenting, and sharing our blogs and social media posts (you can find us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram), with your network. It’s as easy as clicking a button but as a small charity we rely on word of mouth and it helps us in more ways than we could count.

5. Shop Online

While we recommend shopping locally sometimes only online will do. F4S is signed up to AmazonSmile, the Amazon initiative that lets you shop for the same products, prices, and shopping features as normal but Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns, and shipping fees) from your eligible purchases to your selected charity. Just make sure on your first visit before you start shopping to select 'Founders4Schools' to receive donations. After that, every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.co.uk will result in a donation winging its way to us.

eBay for Charity is another way to support us. You can raise money by selling your unwanted items and choosing to donate a percentage of the sale price - eBay takes care of the rest. Simply visit their eBay for Charity webpage for more details.

Since 2015, we have brokered 1.2 million encounters between business leaders and students.

In these uncertain times, it is more important than ever to continue supporting teachers to inspire their students about future career pathways.

We aim to facilitate 10 million student-employer encounters by 2023 and reach 2.5 million students across the UK.

We can’t do this without you so please help us to reach this goal by supporting us in any way you can.

Thank you.
