Group Mentoring involves teachers inviting you into their school to meet with and encourage small groups of students. You’ll be introduced to a small mentor group and given the chance to answer questions, discuss routes to employment, and share guidance.
How should I prepare?
You don’t need to prepare a presentation or any activities. Instead, we recommend speaking from the heart about your own career journey and sharing practical advice that will help young people enter the world of work. If you speak to the teacher organising the event then they will be able to give you more information regarding the number of students present, their age, and what the teacher hopes they will get out of the event.
What is the impact of Group Mentoring?
Group Mentoring is a fantastic way to help students maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they aspire to be. It is a rare opportunity to have an informal yet significant encounter with an inspirational business leader.
