Work Experience

We aim to ensure every young person in the UK can easily access work experience, and that every employer feels confident in hosting effective work placements for young people so that they maximise their talent pool.

Work Experience is known to be the single most important booster of aspiration and attainment for young people whilst they are studying at school and university. We are committed to giving young people hope and opportunity through meaningful work experience whilst also supporting businesses to access future talent from a diverse network of over 1.8 million young people aged 16-24.

F4S works with our affiliate partner Workfinder to:

  • make it easy for young people to search and apply for work experience placements independent of their parental networks, or school
  • support educators to oversee the applications their students make
  • provide a simple way for employers to find students and offer them meaningful work experience roles that also meet business needs

Workfinder's placements can be offered in-person or virtually and are designed to harness student talent whilst delivering real commercial value to businesses.

Each successful placement costs just £100 and F4S receive a contribution from every placement hosted through us, meaning you're not only giving a career boost to the emerging workforce, but helping us to inspire the next generation.
